God Help Us

Not to be one-upped by the recent birth of Suri Cruise-Holmes or Grier Hammond Henchy-Sheilds, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are determined to enter your life in other ways. I wonder if their child will have the last name of Jolie-Pitt-Namibia?

First there was the overture of the 60-page pictorial in the July 2005 issue of W invisioned by one of my favorite photographers Steven Klein. The images depict a fictional 1960s marriage on the verge of collapse.

Anyhow, the lovebirds are plotting, um I mean nesting comfortably in the arms of mother Africa. To thank her for her hospitality, they are bringing African designed homeware products to the retail market. These soft goods will be debuting at an art fair in Paris in September. The couple are working with local craftsmen in Namibia to create an assortment of rugs, pottery and other household items.

A source revealed: "It combines their two passions. Brad's involved with design and Angelina is committed to humanitarian work." I guess by humanitarian they are referring to Jolie's expertise as a homewrecker?
